Public Relations Consultant (Request For Proposal)

Description: Provision of public relations to provide communication services on behalf of the Borough. The goal will be to develop clear and credible positions on issues faced by the municipality by undertaking a proactive media strategy that will include: Scheduling and hosting of press conferences and other media events as requested and appropriate; Dissemination of timely press releases and other material as required to maintain a positive image of the administration in the local media; Arranging interviews with the local print and broadcast media; Writing and editing of letters to the editor; and Writing and editing opinion columns. Production of a newsletter four times per year.
