Description: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division's Air Systems Group, Propulsion and Power Engineering Department seeks white papers on propulsion and power technology for naval air vehicles under the FY27 Broad Agency Announcement. Research and Development of Naval Power and Energy Systems (N00024-19-R-4145 Broad Agency Announcement (BAA))
NAVSEA, on behalf of the Electric Ships Office (PMS 320, organizationally a part of the Program Executive Office - Ships) is interested in White Papers for long and short term Research and Development (R&D) projects that offer potential for advancement and improvements in current and future shipboard electric power and energy systems at the major component, subsystem and system level. The mission of PMS 320 is to develop and provide smaller, simpler, more affordable, and more capable ship power systems to the Navy by defining open architectures, developing common components, and focusing Navy, industry, and academia investments. PMS 320 will provide leadership of the developments identified as part of this BAA, will direct the transition of associated technologies developed by the Office of Naval Research (ONR), and will manage the technology portfolio represented by Program Element (PE) 0603573N (Advanced Surface Machinery Systems) for transition into existing and future Navy ships.

USS Air Craft Carriers, Nuclear Propulsion (CVN) Ship Repair, Maintenance, Modernization, and Overhaul FY27 FFP IDIQ FOLLOW-ON
Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka and Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center have issued a pre-solicitation notice for a five-year firm-fixed-price IDIQ contract covering repair, maintenance, modernization, and overhaul of Navy nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. Work is planned at Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan, with an anticipated performance period of June 1, 2027, through May 31, 2032. The RFP is expected on or about November 4, 2026, and eligible offerors must be authorized to operate in Japan and hold a current Navy Master Ship Repair Agreement or Agreement for Boat Repair.
