The IMP aims to develop and support interpreters by providing structured mentoring to promote national certification and ensure high-quality interpreting services statewide. The program serves state residents and those within 50 mi. of its border who are registered or intend to register with the state. Mentors must meet specific qualifications, submit required documentation, complete continuing education, and attend annual trainings and biannual meetings. The initial term of this contract shall be for five (5) years, with the option for an additional five (5) year extension upon mutual agreement of both parties. See attached file.
