Summary
The project scope of work consists of the replacement of the existing automatic revolving door system and related structure at the “C”
Building main entrance and replace it with a new expanded-footprint glass and aluminum storefront system entrance vestibule. This new
entrance vestibule will capture existing interior and exterior space to provide an energy-efficient, functional, and secure patient and staff entrance to encompass the valet parking service, patient waiting and seating areas and will include vehicle-resistant bollards for enhanced security. Detailed scope of work includes providing and installing a new entry vestibule storefront system structure with automatic sliding doors, vehicle resistant bollards, grade modifications to the existing exterior concrete entrance area, new floor and ceiling finishes, lighting, and MEP systems connected to existing plumbing, electrical, fire sprinkler, fire alarm, data, and security infrastructure systems. Because the renovation requires working within an active, occupied main entrance setting, the contractor must strictly follow all Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) and Interim Life Safety Measure (ILSM) requirements while maintaining patient / staff access and safety protocols.
