Dover Bus Canopy Solar Panels - Readvertisement *Re-Bid*
The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials for the installation of solar panels on canopies over the bus parking lot. The project constructs 47,850 SF of steel framed canopy with a galvanized metal roof that will hold 384 solar panels. The system includes two - 1.1 MWh batteries creating a battery energy storage system (BESS) and a smart energy control center (ECC) to remotely charge buses. A microgrid control system will allow remote monitoring. There is LED lighting under the canopy. 70 bus parking spaces must be reconfigured for the canopy system. The bus parking lot will need to be paved and striped. The site must be kept operational for bus traffic and maintenance at all times.
