Mitchell Fire Station RFP
The City of Mitchell, South Dakota is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of a new 7,748 square foot precast concrete fire station with congregate living quarters and associated site improvements, located at 2800 N. Main Street, Mitchell, SD 57301 (City Project #2026-8 / Consultant Project #DA26-002). A pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site on July 29, 2026 at 1:30 PM, with bids due by 1:30 PM local prevailing time on August 5, 2026, when they will be publicly opened and read in the City Council Chambers. Bidders must provide a bid bond or certified check for at least 10% of the bid sum, and the Owner requires Substantial Completion by September 1, 2027 and Final Completion by September 15, 2027.
