PKA-Giant Voice Equipment -6 CS

Description: Giant voice system and installation replacement. Requirements for the Contractor to Engineer, Design, Furnish, Install, and Test (EDFI&T) a new, non-proprietary turn-key giant voice (GV) system solution to replace the existing GV system and provide complete services with real-time intelligible voice messages, tone alerts, and music for the coverage of all areas at MacDill Air Force Base, FL. The replacement shall consist of 3 central control stations (CCSs), 4 client workstations (CW), 13 remote siren stations (RSSs), and all associated radio base stations (RBSs), AC power extensions/feeders, battery backups, solar panels, lightning protections, grounding, cabling, wiring, software, configuration/ programming, and other necessary components to provide complete system. The Contractor shall reuse the existing GV poles for installation of the new RSS equipment. The entire existing GV system equipment —excluding the poles— shall be decommissioned and disposed of at an off- installation location. Warranty to cover OEM manufacturer warranties and warranty of workmanship are required. Operational and system maintenance training shall also be provided. See attached file.
