Paver Installation (Request for Proposals)

Description: Work consist of demolition and disposal of an old asphalt strip, sub-grade preparation, and the installation of a premium interlocking concrete paver surface. Installation area runs directly along the base of a 4-foot elevated concrete walkway that services local homes and storefronts. The new pavers must run completely flush and tight right up to the base of this elevated walkway wall. While this new area is strictly for aesthetics and pedestrian traffic (tire stoppers will be installed along the edge post-construction), the sub-base must be engineered to handle accidental vehicle overrides from the parking lot without shifting or sagging.
