The topic seeks a network of radar-equipped UAS or sensors that can operate as a collaborative distributed radar team. Phase I will study hardware architectures and simulate networked sensor configurations to quantify performance gains for ground or maritime target surveillance. Phase II will use a small-scale testbed of three or more UAS surrogates carrying small radar modules, while Phase III will evaluate the techniques for varying Service concepts of operation.
