His project includes modifications to the diesel supply system between two diesel storage tanks and the boiler plant control room. The modifications will include new fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) sumps, fuel transfer pumps, day tanks, fuel filtering, leak detection alarms, remote/automated shutoff valves, and a new control system. The control system will allow alarms to be heard and seen in the control room. The control system will allow for automatic shutoff of the diesel supply in the event of a leak. The design will incorporate associated conduits, wiring, wall penetrations, panels, etc. , to create a complete set of improvements.
