Operation of Environmental Collection Center At Edco Recycling and Transfer At Signal Hill (Request For Proposal)

Description: The project involves operating a permanent household hazardous-electronic waste (HHEW) collection facility expected to be open 15 days per year on select Saturdays from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm, though the districts reserve the right to modify operating days. The chosen contractor will handle unwanted household chemical or electronic devices, universal wastes such as batteries, cell phones, fluorescent lamps, mercury-containing equipment, used non-controlled pharmaceuticals, and medical sharps while maintaining the facility in a safe and clean manner.
