On-Call Professional Clean Energy and Operational Resiliency Services
The Port’s Zero Emissions, Energy Resilient Operations (ZEERO) policy was adopted in 2023, to guide the Port’s programs in achieving its own carbon-neutral future while encouraging and leading the larger commercial maritime and goods movement industry to participate in the change that will secure a sustainable future for the global environment. More information can be found at the following link: https://polb.com/environment/zeero#zeero-overview The Port’s Environmental Planning Division is responsible for addressing the Port’s evolving clean energy needs, with a specific focus on emerging near-zero- and zero-emission technologies and their supporting infrastructure, alternative fuels, decarbonization, and power continuity planning. To support these efforts, the Port is seeking qualified consultants to provide on-call professional clean energy and operational resiliency services. The Port expects to award more than one contract from this procurement.
