Oakland Senior Center Camera Project (Request For Quotes)

Description: Seeks proposals to implement a professional, hybrid broadcasting system at the Oakland Senior Center. This system will allow for the seamless capture and transmission of gatherings, meetings, and events in the Senior Center space, such as town council meetings, educational classes, public events, and senior activities via Oakland’s local TV and YouTube channels and through the platforms of the Senior Center for sharing video programming with their members. The goal of the project is to increase transparency, digital inclusion, and community engagement—especially for seniors and homebound residents—through technology that both technical and non-technically-savvy staff and volunteers can learn and operate with ease and little maintenance.
