NWHCMUD No. 5 Lift Station No. 5, 6, and 11 Generator Additions

Lake Stevens Sewer District

Work includes construct the lift station generator improvements. The scope of work for this project includes modifications to five small, separate lift stations within the sewer district service area. These lift stations are station 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Work at lift station 2 (schedule a) includes demolition of an existing generator building, construction of a new electrical stanchion, procurement and installation of a new diesel generator with subbase fuel tank and sound enclosure, site improvements, electrical modifications, and installation of a new, larger electrical service. Work at lift station 3 (schedule b) includes demolition of existing generator equipment, procurement and installation of a new diesel generator with custom subbase fuel tank, modifications to the existing cmu building, and electrical modifications. Work at lift station 4 (schedule c) Includes demolition of an existing generator building, construction of a new electrical stanchion, procurement and installation of a new diesel generator with subbase fuel tank and sound enclosure, site improvements, and electrical modifications. Work at lift station 5 (schedule d) includes demolition of an existing fuel tank and accompanying building, procurement and installation of a new diesel generator with subbase fuel tank, modifications to the existing concrete roof slab, site and concrete work, and electrical modifications.

Northwest Harris County Mud 5

The project includes demolition and removal of Ground Storage Tank No. 1, above-ground water well discharge piping, booster pump station piping and foundation, generator pad, and fuel tank with foundation. The existing booster pumps and motors will be refurbished, including replacement of seals with mechanical seals. Furnish and install new 426,500-gallon welded steel ground storage tank with cathodic protection, along with new water well discharge piping, booster pump station piping and foundation pad, and a diesel-powered emergency generator. Hydropneumatic Tanks No. 1 (10,000 gallon) and No. 2 (15,000 gallon) will be rehabilitated by power washing, abrasive blasting, and recoating of both interior and exterior surfaces. The project also includes site preparation, grading, drainage, yard piping, and all components to ensure the smooth operation of the water plant.

Work includes lift station no 6 mitigation. Bypass pumping 1 ls, removal and salvage/disposal of existing lift station equipment and materials 1 ls, demolition of existing submersible lift station 1 ls, install submersible lift station with valve vault 1 ls, install flow meter vault assembly 1 ls, install 6", dip force main with fittings, open cut 10 lf, install 8", dip force main with fittings, open cut 35 lf, install 8" plug valves 1 ea, install force main air release valve 1 ea, install 18", pvc gravity sewer 10 lf, install 1-inch hdpe water service with rpz and hose bib 1 ls, install/modify electrical service 1 ls, install control panel system and electrical lift station components 1 ls, install emergency generator system 1 ls.
