Notice to NIST Contractors of Transition to IPP

Description: The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is migrating its acquisition and financial systems to a new Invoice Processing Platform (IPP), causing a temporary blackout period for invoice submissions. Contractors are instructed to submit invoices early; the last day to submit invoices to invoice@nist.gov for FY26 consideration is September 11, 2026 and NIST will stop accepting invoices at that address starting September 12, 2026. IPP is estimated to be available on October 21, 2026; contractors must register in IPP when available and ensure their SAM.gov registration remains active to avoid payment or processing delays.
