NOTICE SALE AT AUCTION OF REAL PROPERTY NOT NEEDED FOR PUBLIC USE

Description: The County of Morris is offering for public auction a 10-acre parcel at 540 West Hanover Avenue (Morris View Healthcare Center) that the County has determined is no longer needed for public use. The auction is scheduled for August 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with a stated minimum bid of $27,050,000; the sale is subject to existing lease terms, deed restrictions requiring continued licensed long-term care use for at least 283 beds, and other RFB conditions. Site visits are scheduled for July 2 and July 9, 2026 and interested parties are instructed to request RFB documents and further information from the County Purchasing Agent (mcpurchasing@co.morris.nj.us).
