Notice of Intent to Sole Source for NMR Gaussmeter
The National Institute of Standards and Technology intends to noncompetitively acquire a nuclear magnetic resonance proton gaussmeter that is calibrated and traceable to international standards. The instrument must be standalone, highly precise and accurate, cover an operating frequency range of at least 1 MHz to 1 GHz, support interchangeable probe heads, and include a remote passive measurement head and calibration certificate. The notice states that market research identified Metrolabs Technologies SA's NMR Precision Teslameter PT2026 as meeting the requirements and GMW Associates as its exclusive U.S. reseller, while inviting capable sources to respond before the deadline.
