Description: The City is accepting applications from qualified nonprofit organizations for funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Program. Funding is available for programs serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in the following categories: Emergency Shelter — Up to $64,199.60 Available Funding may support eligible emergency shelter operations and essential services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Housing Stability — At Least $56,850.40 Available Funding may support Rapid Re-Housing and Homelessness Prevention activities that help eligible individuals and families obtain or maintain stable housing.

OC Housing and Community Development and OC Community Resources released a 2026 Supportive Housing NOFA making up to $20.9 million available for the acquisition, construction, and rehabilitation of supportive housing for extremely low-income households. The initiative includes up to 100 project-based housing vouchers and requires projects to provide appropriate supportive services for those experiencing homelessness. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through a sealed-bid process with a final deadline at the end of 2027.
