VACUUM PUMP PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
NASA/NSSC issued a Special Notice for preventative maintenance on vacuum pumps at NASA’s Langley Research Center, Building B1148. The work includes removing two pumps, shipping them to the OEM for teardown and inspection, authorizing rebuilds, and returning and reinstalling the pumps with facility technicians. NIST is conducting a Sources Sought market-research notice for equipment supporting an ultra-high-vacuum microscope on the SURF III EUV reflectometer beamline, including 10 UHV translation stages, 10 motion controller/amplifier units, and two 6-inch CFF electrical feed-through flanges.
