Old Brook Road Slope Stabilization RFP
The scope of the Old Brook Road stabilization project will include a Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) wall supporting the roadway's southbound (western) lane, and the MSE wall will be supported by a soil nail stabilized slope extending down to the slope toe. The construction sequence is anticipated to establish a bench on the slope, while maintaining one lane of traffic on Old Brook Road throughout the project.

Work includes 600 SY removing existing bituminous pavement, 2200 CY excavation/grading of embankment, 200 CY aggregate subbase course - type d, 50 ton 12. 5 mm hma pavement, 180 LF bituminous curb, 180 LF 31" w-beam guardrail, 2 EA 31" w-beam guardrail flared terminal, 1 EA adjusting catch basin to grade, 150 SY turf reinforced mat, erosion control.
