NDOT Gothenburg Salt Dome Conveyor and Roof Replacement RFP

Description: In general, work consists of the reroofing of the existing salt storage dome, including removal and replacement of existing asphalt shingles, underlayment, waterproofing, flashing, and associated roofing components as required. Existing exterior cladding shall remain unless deterioration or weathering necessitates replacement. The project also includes construction of a new enclosed structure over the existing conveyor pit utilized for salt handling operations. The enclosure is a wood-framed structure with exterior cladding and an access door designed to protect the conveyor system and pit from weather exposure while maintaining operational access.
