Drinking Water Reservoirs Cleaning and Inspection RFP
Provide maintenance services to perform potable water tank and reservoir cleaning and inspection.
Description: Work includes various potable water cleaning and inspection project generally consist of, but is not limited to, interior cleaning of city above ground steel reservoirs treatment plant facilities, underground reservoirs, conduits, and high lift pump station sumps. The work also includes removing and disposing of any debris, sediment, or sludge, performing interior inspection and documentation of all surfaces (roof, walls, floor, hatches, man ways, etc.) and appurtenances (piping, support columns, ladder, cathodic protection, monitoring equipment, etc.), providing written repair recommendations for distressed areas (if any), minor spot repairs, de-chlorination and filtration of cleaning discharge, installation of flowmeter on discharge, dechlorination sampling, maintain reservoir quality (disinfection) at all times, and other items.

The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals; the City may award to multiple contractors under a three-year agreement with two one-year extension options. Bidders must have at least six years of continuous well rehabilitation and pump replacement experience under a California C-57 license and submit at least five relevant recent project references.
