MWWTP Effluent FM Surge & Transient Design Build Services (UN 1282)

Description: The Board of Commissioners for Charles County is requesting design-build proposals to design and construct a new standpipe with separate influent and effluent pipes for force-main surge management at the Mattawoman Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project scope includes construction of a new 40-ft diameter standpipe with staircase and platform, overflow and bypass vaults, new ductile iron piping, valves, sump pumps, electrical and instrumentation work, and pavement/yard restoration; the design-build team must provide turnkey services including design, permitting, testing, start-up, and contract closeout.
