The County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation is soliciting proposals to provide park maintenance and mowing services across multiple county parks and areas, each listed separately (e.g., Whittier Narrows, Kenneth Hahn, Arcadia area parks, etc.). The contract term allows for three years with two one-year options and six-month extensions for a maximum of five years and six months; proposers must have at least three years relevant experience and comply with insurance, licensing and other mandatory requirements. A mandatory virtual proposers conference is scheduled for January 7, 2026, questions are due January 23, 2026, and the RFP closes on February 27, 2026.

Grass and weeds will be maintained at a height of 3 inches. Contractor to be responsible for the mowing of all grassy areas, including hand mowing, edge trimming, weed whipping, and leaf blowing. All weeds are to be removed from sidewalks and around shrubs and flower beds. Pecial care should be taken while performing maintenance in areas around benches, playgrounds, grills, artwork, picnic tables, etc. See outside link.
