The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, on behalf of the National Ocean Service’s Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, intends to procure Johnson Controls Metasys Building Automation System core component parts on a sole-source basis. The components are required to extend NOAA’s enterprise building automation system, replace unsupported Windows 8 system components, and integrate with NOAA’s existing Johnson Controls Metasys administration software. The procurement also includes related parts and services for installing and commissioning the upgraded Metasys HVAC building automation system.
The purpose of this request is to procure an Aquaneering Xenopus Aquatic System. The Comparative Medicine Branch is requesting the purchase and installation of an Aquaneering Xenopus Housing Rack including all components and accessories necessary for normal operation for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). The 3-shelf is purpose-built to house over 100 African-Clawed Frogs (Xenopus laevis). This unit provides four-stage filtration to remove water-based contaminants including ammonia and nitrate which are hazardous to aquatic species. A stainless-steel UV system is present providing pathogen control. Adjustable water flow rates allow precise water delivery to each tank or row of tanks. The system is designed to minimize required maintenance and cleaning to reduce operational costs. XS360-1521 Xenopus Housing Rack, 3-shelf. 60" 11524mm wide.
