Modernization of Orechio Building Elevator and Maintenance Contract for Four Commission Elevators

Building elevator needs to be modernized. This elevator, along with the other three, needs a new maintenance service agreement, which is included in this bid solicitation. However, the maintenance for the orechio building elevator must also include an interim, pre-modernization maintenance period. The scope of the orechio building elevator modernization consists of replacing the following major items: - cab enclosure - car operating panel & controls - hydraulic pump unit including hydraulic cylinder & jack - traveling cables - related appurtenances the elevator contractor will be responsible to obtain permits and certification for operation, inspection, and testing. Additional items included in the scope of work: - demolition and disposal of existing materials not slated for reuse - all materials and components are to be supplied as part of the scope of supply and work - related electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, fire alarm system coordination - machine room work.
