ML King Jr Parkway Lane Modifications from I-235 to Hickman Road

Description: The City of Des Moines is soliciting a contractor for roadway lane modifications on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway from I-235 to Hickman Road. Work includes excavation, subgrade treatment and base preparation for approximately 5,200 square yards of pavement, new curb and gutter and concrete work, replacement of sidewalks, driveways and access points, and traffic-signal and pavement-marking upgrades. The work is to be completed by May 31, 2028, with liquidated damages for delay.
