Mission Road Underground Utility District Project

The City of South San Francisco (Public Works/Engineering Division) is soliciting sealed bids to relocate overhead utilities to underground within the Mission Road Underground Utility District, including installation of utility boxes, vaults, conduits, new sidewalks and ADA curb ramps, street lighting, drainage improvements, removal of utility poles, and restoration of affected surfaces. The Engineer’s estimate is $6.26 million and the work includes coordinated joint trench work, traffic control, and preservation of survey monuments; a detailed scope is included in the bid documents. The solicitation is an Invitation for Bids (construction contract), is not a grant, and is open for response through the bid submission deadline.
