Market Sounding for Battery-Electric Refuse Collection Trucks and Operational Trials

Description: The City of Nanaimo is seeking information from vendors of electric refuse collection vehicles that can provide vehicle information, deliver a vehicle, provide operator orientation, and leave it with the City for a seven-day operational demonstration. The City wants to learn about commercially available electric refuse collection vehicles and gain firsthand operating experience under typical municipal collection conditions. This RFI is intended to inform a potential future procurement process and is not a grant program.
