Maintenance Services of Barriers and Gates

Description: This presolicitation is for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services of hydraulic traffic barriers, automatic gates, and bollard systems at U.S. Government properties in Rome, Naples, and Florence, Italy. The contractor will provide managerial and labor personnel to service approximately 30 gates, 7 barriers, and 20 bollard systems under a firm fixed-price contract. The U.S. Embassy in Rome intends to award a contract with a base year and four one-year options following a future formal solicitation.

RFI: Definition of Permanent Barriers
The Department of the Interior, Office of Acquisition and Property Management on behalf of the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) issued an RFI titled "Definition of Permanent Barriers" to collect industry feedback on a Draft Statement of Work and to identify entities with relevant expertise. The effort is market research only (Sources Sought/RFI) and will compile existing performance data on permanent barrier technologies, develop a structured database and a scorecard-style review framework; no contract will be awarded from this announcement. The work focuses on compiling and peer-reviewing existing data (not new testing) to define minimum technical parameters and operating envelopes for permanent barriers used in offshore well integrity systems.

Design, Fabrication and Installation of Flood Barriers
This is a presolicitation from the U.S. Department of State for the design, fabrication, and installation of flood barriers for the U.S. Embassy in Manila.
