Lower Mount Glen Lake Dam Rehabilitation

Description: General Project Description/Summary: mobilization of labor, equipment, and materials to the site as needed to complete the work; installation of soil erosion and sediment control devices; installation of control of water and stream diversion devices to maintain streamflow during the work; establish staging area as required to complete the work; demolish and remove existing concrete baffle chute spillway, sidewalls, and downstream riprap; install sand and gravel filter materials beneath proposed spillway slab; construct reinforced concrete wingwalls, cantilever retaining walls, crest slab, and upstream cutoff wall; construct reinforced concrete primary spillway chute and concrete-lined stilling basin, including chute blocks, baffle blocks, and end sill; install toe drain along the dam embankment; establish permanent turf on the embankment when all work is completed; restore the staging area and the construction entrance provided for site access following completion of all work; maintain control of water at all times during construction.
