LNG Peak Shaving Facility Odorizer Replacement RFP

Description: Equipment and services to replace the existing natural gas odorizer located at their Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) Peak Shaving Facility. The LNG Peak Shaving Facility and provides natural gas peak shaving capabilities to GUC’s natural Gas customers. The plant has Vaporization capabilities up to 1,000 DTs per hour, however, mostly the plant operates in a stand-by mode where LNG Boil Off flow rates vary from 0 DTs per hour to 3 DTS per hour. The MAOP of the pipeline at the odorizer is 60 PSIG, but can get as low as 30 PSIG. The existing odorizer is a Zeck Systems Model Z9000 paired with a 250-gallon nitrogen blanketed odorant tank (which will remain in service). Injection rate, odorizer status, alarms, and system battery voltage is sent back to GUC’s LNG SCADA system using a ControlWave Micro BSAP protocol. Remove existing Zeck Systems Model Z9000 Odorizer – minimizing odorant release; Install new Odorizer; Commission new Odorizer; Validate Communications with GUC’s SCADA system.
