The project consists of the demolition and relocation of approx. 386 LF of 24 wide local street along with milling and new overlay of the remaining 1,259 LF of existing roadway. The street construction includes asphalt paving and concrete curb and gutter. Utility work on the project includes replacement of the existing 18" storm pipe system and two catch basins and installation of approx. 1,661 LF of 12" C900 PVC water main and related appurtenances. A new 5'-wide sidewalk is to be constructed on the relocated section of the street and along the remainder of the existing street totaling 1,435 LF. A Contech steel pedestrian bridge with concrete abutments will be constructed for a sidewalk creek crossing. The milling and paving includes thermoplastic striping and minor concrete work at driveways. Removal of shrubs and trees.

The project also includes the milling and overlaying improvements of existing asphalt pavement with portland cement concrete for improvements at the street and avenue intersection. The project includes new traffic signals at the intersection, new sidewalks, new pavement markings and signage.
