The work consists of removing an existing discharge valve and actuator; installing a metropolitan-furnished 54" fixed cone valve and actuator; recoating the discharge pipeline interior; refurbishing valve house and a 54" slide gate valve; upgrading associated electrical systems; replacing electrical and telecommunications cables; fabricating and installing a temporary underwater isolation device; improving the access road, and other appurtenant work.
