JP Murtha Float Mooring Bitts Retrofit

Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Pittsburgh District is soliciting an unrestricted, firm-fixed-price construction contract to retrofit floating mooring bitts at the John P. Murtha Locks and Dam using in-the-wet construction methods. Work includes fabricating and installing anchorage frames and two dewatering boxes, operating floating plant, performing demolition and concrete work, and providing commercial diving support. The contractor must protect existing structures and restore altered areas to at least their prior condition, with work completed within 730 calendar days after written Notice to Proceed.
