Perform Chiller Maintenance Services of the York Chillers and Trane Chillers.
Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs, through Network Contract Office 19, is soliciting maintenance services for the chiller system at the VA Salt Lake City Medical Center under notice 36C25926Q0625. The contractor must provide labor, materials, tools, supervision, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep the York and Trane chillers reliable and operational. Work must comply with applicable OSHA, EPA refrigerant-handling, Joint Commission, and Utah licensing requirements, and responses are due September 14, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. EDT.

Clean and prepare all surfaces including removal of non-compliant coatings and foams. Reinforce compromised floors with steel as needed to restore structure to the floors. Apply protective epoxy at 3/16” nominal thickness and 6” up walls throughout all chamber floors and condensate pans to stop leaks and halt corrosion. Apply fire barrier over all epoxy compliant with NFPA 90A. Apply antimicrobial topcoat over all fire barrier. Apply multi-acrylic, corrosion resistant, antimicrobial coating on walls, ceiling, fan housing and structural steel throughout areas where epoxy application occurred. Barriers shall be placed by the contractor to prevent any debris, materials, or gases from traveling in the ductwork downstream of the work areas. See attached file.
