J--In-Situ Equipment Repair, Maint., & Calibration

Description: The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Water Mission Area, Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility, intends to award a non-competitive, firm-fixed-price purchase order to In-Situ Inc. for repair, maintenance, calibration services, and repair parts for In-Situ equipment. The equipment and parts are to be delivered to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for one year from the date of award, with two option years thereafter, because In-Situ is the proprietary manufacturer with the technical knowledge, drawings, patents, specialized tools, and parts required. The notice is informational rather than a request for competitive quotations; responsible sources may submit a quotation by email, but the Government intends to make a noncompetitive award under RFO 12.102(a).
