J-477- CM - Renovations for Student Success and Career Services, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College

Description: The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), on behalf of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC), is soliciting statements of qualifications from firms interested in providing construction management at-risk/general contractor services for Project No. J-477, the renovation and adaptive reuse of the former Music Building at the ABAC campus in Tifton, Georgia. The roughly 14,850 GSF historic 1960 building will be transformed into a Student Success and Career Services center, with renewal of MEP systems (conversion to four-pipe distribution), building envelope upgrades (new roof, replacement single-pane windows), accessibility improvements (new elevator), interior reconfiguration, and finishes/fixtures work; sustainable design principles and Georgia Peach certification with commissioning are required. The estimated construction cost is approximately $6,600,000 and the delivery method is CM@R (Construction Management at Risk).
