Description: Invitation For Bids The Housing Authority of the City of Prichard, Alabama will receive sealed bids to furnish labor, material, equipment and services required for the restoration of one (1) single family home located at 520 Ossia Edwards Street, Prichard, AL 36610. Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., CST; Monday, November 30, 2026, at the office of the Housing Authority of the City of Prichard, 200 W Prichard Avenue, Prichard, Alabama 36610, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the stated date and time will not be considered. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2026, at the office of the Housing Authority of the City of Prichard, 200 W Prichard Avenue, Prichard, Alabama 36610, attendance is encouraged. Bidders are requested to inspect the property as well as operations and conditions that may be affected. Contract documents and specifications may be downloaded from HACP's website. Only bids from qualified licensed contractors will be considered. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid on this project and that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Each bid must include the Non-Collusive Affidavit signed by the bidder. Bid documents shall be sealed in an envelope, which shall be clearly labeled with the words "IFB 2026-01 Restoration of Burn Unit - 520 Ossia Edward Street", Name of bidder, Date and Time of Bid Opening. All bidders are invited and urged to attend the bid opening. Bids may be held by the Housing Authority of the City of Prichard, Alabama for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing them and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
