Introduction To Welding Course RFP

Description: For the introduction to welding course. The course provides the following: instruct welders in welding safety and welding techniques utilizing various processes like shielded metal. Course Objective: Introduction to welding safety; fill freeze and fast fill groups of electrodes; welding with 6013 flat and horizontal sheet metal; weld with 7014-1 flat and horizontal 3/8" to 1/2" plate, single pass and three pass; fast freeze (6010 and 6011) and low hydrogen groups of electrodes. Weld flat and vertical up with both groups of electrodes; basic MIG lecture; weld short arc, globular, spray and pulse spray; basic TIG lecture; weld on steel and stainless steel and Plasma cutting.
