The Project consists of Renovation & Addition to Fire Station #2 – 4,988 SF. Essential Facility. Renovation of 1,222 SF area to create Decon Area and New Toilet/Shower Rooms with 1,240 SF. Addition to create New 4 Bed Sleeping Unit and Multi-Purpose Room. Typical new construction consists of cold formed steel load bearing studs and roof joists. Construction includes brick veneer-on-metal stud walls, interior CMU walls and (low slope) single-ply membrane roof system. Renovation work also includes Re-Roof of the existing Facility. Base bid work also includes associated site grading; water and sewer utility work, sidewalks and landscaping (re-seed / grassing).
