ILSAVE Discount Program: GED Testing (Sole Source)

The CDC has over 250 laboratories that participate within the LAMP program which is the laboratory accuracy base for many state public health lead poisoning prevention programs. The analytical labs that participate in the program rely on the continuous receipt of quality assurance samples at the intervals that have already been established. The Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene (WSLH) is a full service proficiency testing provider that currently provides contract support for the CDC’s LAMP Program. WSLH has proven through a history of contract support that they have the technical expertise and capabilities to provide the service that we require. Continuing service with the WSLH will allow the CDC to provide the service at the prescribed intervals. Working with an alternate contractor, if one was available, would delay the scheduled rounds due to the time needed to set the program up, procure the materials and make the new materials.

Charlotte County Public Schools issued a Sole Source acquisition for LocoRobo products and services, including the LocoRobo Academy coding platform and various robotic hardware. The district indicates LocoRobo Innovations Inc. is the sole authorized source and requires all purchases to be made directly from that vendor. Written refutations to this sole-source claim must be submitted prior to the response deadline of February 5, 2026.

The FDA Office of Acquisition and Grant Services issued a Special Notice announcing its intent to sole-source contracts to state and territorial organizations to conduct the 2026 U.S. Animal Feed Inspection Program. The notice requires prospective governmental contractors to demonstrate legal authority to conduct regulatory inspections, trained inspectional personnel, and experience in state/territorial regulatory procedures; responses are to be submitted by email to the contracting POC. This is a sole-source Special Notice (not a grant) limited to governmental entities and is open for responses until 2026-01-30.
