Description: The Department of General Services is soliciting bids for magnesium chloride-based pellets, crystals, or flakes to melt snow and ice from streets and walkways. The product must be supplied in 50-pound plastic bags with retail labeling and UPC bar coding, and must meet the specified chemical composition ranges. Delivery is required to the Virginia Distribution Center in Sandston, Virginia, by January 4, 2027.
