City of Long Beach
The Port of Long Beach is seeking proposals for the development and operation of a publicly accessible hydrogen fueling station at Pier D. The work under this contract involves designing, permitting, constructing, and operating a hydrogen fuel site specifically intended to serve heavy-duty drayage trucks. Fueling services for light-duty or passenger vehicles are not to be included in the proposals. The selected party will be responsible for all costs associated with the design, permitting, environmental review, and capital improvements necessary for the successful development and operation of the site. The anticipated agreement's duration will depend on the proposed use and the level of capital improvement investment by the proposer.
