HSC Vivarium Study

Description: West Virginia University is soliciting an architectural/engineering consulting team to conduct a feasibility and planning study for renovation, modernization, and potential expansion of the Health Sciences Center (HSC) vivarium in Morgantown, WV. The study will assess existing conditions, code compliance, infrastructure, space programming, and large‑animal research feasibility, and will develop multiple conceptual alternatives with cost and schedule estimates. Deliverables include detailed reports, schematic diagrams, cost/schedule analyses, and a final feasibility report and presentation; Phase 1 (feasibility study) is budgeted at roughly $380,000 and Phase 2 (full design) is optional and not yet funded.
