Historic Preservation Consulting Services: Development of a Comprehensive Equity-Based Historic Preservation Plan & City-Wide Historic Preservation Design Guidelines RFP

Description: The City of Kingston, NY (RFP #K26-22) is soliciting consultant services to develop a Comprehensive Equity-based Historic Preservation Plan and City-wide Historic Preservation Design Guidelines. The work requires public neighborhood meetings and consultations with stakeholders including the New York State Historic Preservation Office and Tribal Historic Preservation Offices, and will include presentations to the City’s Common Council and adoption by the Historic Landmarks Preservation Commission. The project is funded via an NYS Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation FFY25 Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) Sub-Grant/CLG award; proposals are due September 4, 2026 and questions must be submitted by August 12, 2026 to Ethan Dickerman (edickerman@kingston-ny.gov).
