Harry S Truman Streetscape Perimeter Construction Project

Description: The General Services Administration’s Public Buildings Service, New England Region, Acquisition Management Division, intends to hire a construction contractor to improve security and aesthetics around the Harry S Truman Streetscape Construction building in Washington, DC. The work will replace temporary security measures with tested countermeasures intended to secure the building and protect employees and visitors while improving the surrounding pedestrian environment. The project covers approximately 162,000 square feet of civil/site streetscape construction—including sidewalks, curb and gutter, and utilities—and is to be completed in four phases.
