Summary
Subcontract to provide Hanford Site Energy Management Services. The subcontractor shall provide technically qualified resources that work as a part of a team under the direct oversight of HMIS. oversight of HMIS. Subcontractor resources shall be responsible for independently planning, organizing, and performing a wide variety of non-hazardous specialized administrative/technical duties in support of the successful completion of goals and deliverables. Additionally, the subcontractor shall furnish all necessary labor, technical and professional services, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, consumables, and payment of any applicable taxes to perform all operations necessary and required to perform the scope as directed by HMIS. Specifically, HMIS requires a subcontractor to provide: Planning and conducting sustainability-related evaluations
for facilities meeting requisite criteria that are located on the Hanford Site. This includes energy and water evaluations to satisfy the 2007 Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA) Section 432 requirements, and High
Performance and Sustainable Building (HPSB) assessments addressing the HPSB Guiding Principles (GPs) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) requirements. Additionally, for facilities previously evaluated, HMIS is charged with assisting in organizing Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) and Water Conservation Measures (WCMs) identified during the evaluations as well as other requirements for future actions. HMIS is also responsible for coordinating and facilitating the utilization of available energy incentives (deemed and
custom projects), primarily through the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), for the Hanford Site.
