AvailableEnergy Trust of Oregon, Inc.
Energy trust solar trade ally contractors interested in the opportunity to be selected to participate in PSAP, which is focused on installing low- to no-cost solar and storage systems on homes and multifamily buildings to benefit low- income. For many homes, repairs or upgrades are needed before solar installation can begin, such as roof repairs or replacements, electrical upgrades, structural reinforcement, mold mitigation, tree trimming/removal, etc. These repairs and upgrades will be referred to as "enabling repairs" throughout the RFQ. PSAP has funds for some enabling repairs, and participating trade allies are expected to coordinate with subcontractors to get this work done. Funding may also cover battery storage systems, which can provide backup power during an outage and strengthen the utility grid.
