AvailableAvenue will be expanded to 5 lanes on the north and south legs of the intersection including two-through lanes and a left-turn lane at the intersection in each direction. Street will be expanded to 4 lanes in the east and west directions including a left turn lane. The intersection will have new sidewalks and ADA-compliant curb ramps on each leg of the intersection. New traffic signals will be installed on each leg of the intersection as well. In addition, new pavement striping and signage will be installed. The project also includes the milling and overlaying improvements of existing asphalt pavement with portland cement concrete for improvements at the street and avenue intersection.
